Water Rates & Policies
Listed below, you will find the City of Hardwick current water rates and policies. If you do not find the information you need, please contact our office and we will provide it for you.
Water meters are read quarterly by city maintenance personnel. If we cannot locate your meter or if there is a problem with your meter, a card will be left on your door. Please read your meter and return the card to the drop box in City Hall.
Hardwick residents are billed quarterly for Water, Sewer and Garbage services. Accounts not paid in full by the next reading will have their water service disconnected.
There is $150 deposit for new residental accounts.

- Residental Sewer $53.50
- Garbage 35-Gallon Container $54.50
- Garbage 65-Gallon Container $65.20
- Garbage 95-Gallon Container $75.90
- Extra Garbage charges at hauler's discretion (weight and anything not in your container)
